I recall traveling to a gig in Holberg. (way the F up there on Vancouver Island) One of the band cars had a blow out. (rotted sidewall)The lug nuts were *really* tight. Someone suggested putting a support under the tire iron to keep it from slipping off. Made sense to me. If one is holding on to the gutter doing the old axle nut thing, I imagine putting a sturdy support under the socket would be helpful. Neil. |
