Subject:   "Axle" wheel nut removal?
Content-Type:   TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

Anyone have good suggestions on removing the monster nut on the "axle" hub? Last time I did it, it involved a six-foot cheater pipe, much foul language, and jumping up and down. Scared the #$@$@ out of me when it finally broke loose, almost landed on my face.

I need to R and R the brakes...

But, I suspect this is the best (only?) way, beside using the Muir approach.

Thanks,

;)

Jon
