hey man.........don't sweat it.
we're just tryin' to help each other here.......
and if some of that involves computer help and dealing with glitches........
that's part of the whole package. ( that's MY policy and attiude anyway )
btw......the 'climate' feels kinda good on here the last few days.
We got through all that moderator hullabaloo........
and we're settled down to pretty ordinary vangon biz again.
And the degree of control or moderation does not feel heavy handed at all
either......
feels good.
happy rainy day ( here anyway ......wet but warm in Southern Oregon ) ,
scott

Vanagon content :
My project vans for sale, that I am working on, most are running........some
nearly done, one I could sell today :
83 Westy, 21. engine,.........many fine upgrades and features , drives like
a sprots car ........could sell it today. $ 6,900
85 Adventurewagon, no rust, no dents ......2.1 engine, upgraded and improved
interior - about $ 9,995 when done
83 Five-Speed Sunroof Diesel Vanagon ......no rust, looks decent, perfect
interior, running, but plan to do a 1.9NA for it - about $ 7K
82 Sunroof Diseel Vanaogn .......collectible grade, barely a ding, stored
indoors several years.......I can get it to almost
showroom condition, doing ring and valve job on original engine block,
have salesman's biz card that sold it in Portland OR,
even have the original window price sticker. Total miles not too high
either. around $ 11K
86 GL.......no dents, almost no rust.......freind of mine wants it, but he
may not have the $ . auto trans, , van is tight & smooth. $ 3,995
87 Wolfsburg, silver, no rust, some dents that I plan to remove
.......runs, theres a bit to go on it yet though.
84 L Vanagon .......zero rust, barely two dents, perfect interior, very nice
blue and white original paint.....would make a perfect project van for
someone.......could be made into a diesel van or anything ...........$
1,500 cuurently, has everything there to run, good used engine, good trans
etc.
full Westy poptop set up .........main roof, front roof rack, hinges,
latch, brackets, support bar etc. etc.....everything but the tent and the
rubber seals.......white fiberglass, in
good shape. Includes the complete upper bed, the board up there, both
cushions, and the front board with hinges ...and I have the roof it came
from, which includes a flat bar welded into the roof by Westfahlia when they
did the roof mod at the factory. So ,.'the entire set up' exccept for two
normal-wear items anyway........the rubber seals, and the tent. $ 250
firm, for the whole set up. , located in Southern Oregon.
