Makin' money! Test is good for 1 year on older (pre '92??) vehicles (unless one were to cancel their insurance mid stream and renew. You can inadvertently extend it. Hint hint for B.C. people) Yah it seems to be pretty uber clean, but what the heck do I know anyways? <grin> As to Air Care and engine swaps, I recall emailing Air Care long before deciding on the Jetta gas engine, and asked "what if I put a diesel in there?". They emailed to the effect of "just tell them it's a diesel". Seems like pretty loose testing in some ways. Anyway, they had their fancy engine mirrors and such. Meh. I don't think they noticed or cared. (Nare Care? <grin>) 16V 1.8? Sounds like you have neat engine. Here's mine. 2.0 ABA with cross flow head @15* (a la "upright" using a KEP kit) http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/EngineInRuns2.jpg http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/EngineInRuns.jpg Neil. |
