Hello list -

Here is my question - it may seem a bit silly but I really don't know the
answer.

Some of you may recall that a couple of weeks ago I had an issue with a bad
fuel line. So I replaced said line from the pump to the plastic firewall
fitting - while I was at it I removed that plastic POS and replaced it with
a brass coupler with a 5/16 barbed fitting on each end.

My question is this: That brass fitting clearly has a bit larger of a
diameter on the inside than the stock plastic fitting. So my twisted little
mind was wondering if that additional "space" could cause a change (drop) in
fuel pressure? If it does would it be enough of a difference to notice in
the way the bus runs or fuel consumption?

Like I said I could be off base with my little theory but I thought I'd ask
those of you who could tell me if I'm nuts or not.
