hey man.........don't sweat it. we're just tryin' to help each other here....... and if some of that involves computer help and dealing with glitches........ that's part of the whole package. ( that's MY policy and attiude anyway )

btw......the 'climate' feels kinda good on here the last few days. We got through all that moderator hullabaloo........ and we're settled down to pretty ordinary vangon biz again. And the degree of control or moderation does not feel heavy handed at all either...... feels good. happy rainy day ( here anyway ......wet but warm in Southern Oregon ) , scott www.tuurbovans.com

Vanagon content : My project vans for sale, that I am working on, most are running........some nearly done, one I could sell today :

83 Westy, 21. engine,.........many fine upgrades and features , drives like a sprots car ........could sell it today. $ 6,900 85 Adventurewagon, no rust, no dents ......2.1 engine, upgraded and improved interior - about $ 9,995 when done 83 Five-Speed Sunroof Diesel Vanagon ......no rust, looks decent, perfect interior, running, but plan to do a 1.9NA for it - about $ 7K 82 Sunroof Diseel Vanaogn .......collectible grade, barely a ding, stored indoors several years.......I can get it to almost showroom condition, doing ring and valve job on original engine block, have salesman's biz card that sold it in Portland OR, even have the original window price sticker. Total miles not too high either. around $ 11K 86 GL.......no dents, almost no rust.......freind of mine wants it, but he may not have the $ . auto trans, , van is tight & smooth. $ 3,995 87 Wolfsburg, silver, no rust, some dents that I plan to remove .......runs, theres a bit to go on it yet though. 84 L Vanagon .......zero rust, barely two dents, perfect interior, very nice blue and white original paint.....would make a perfect project van for someone.......could be made into a diesel van or anything ...........$ 1,500 cuurently, has everything there to run, good used engine, good trans etc.

full Westy poptop set up .........main roof, front roof rack, hinges, latch, brackets, support bar etc. etc.....everything but the tent and the rubber seals.......white fiberglass, in good shape. Includes the complete upper bed, the board up there, both cushions, and the front board with hinges ...and I have the roof it came from, which includes a flat bar welded into the roof by Westfahlia when they did the roof mod at the factory. So ,.'the entire set up' exccept for two normal-wear items anyway........the rubber seals, and the tent. $ 250 firm, for the whole set up. , located in Southern Oregon.

I also have two chassis/bodies, with titles .........one is 85 Passenger van, from the desert, no rust...... $ 200 another is an 84........kiinda ungly and dented.....was runing......great beater vanagon .......worth way more than 200 in parts. .......and more....
