I tried that in situ and on the bench before the drilling/Dremel madness that was my Tues night. No luck. No movement. I even tried pressing them out with a C-clamp and other bits while in situ. Just a whole lot of stored up energy and no movement.

But I'll give the BFH another whirl before drilling anymore. Thankfully I have the same old style front end parts from my '85 (one reason I attempted this) But. They *likely* have rusted bolts too. I swear. It's almost like VW press fit these f'n bolts! :)
