dear concerned

Thieves are looking for two things ... bling -- opportunity--

i do two things to minimize the possibility of assault on my vanagon space... i put up the privacy curtain between the snaps behind main cabin seats -- this prevents the look in people - i pull the curtain across the sliding door window -- and when in any sort of area that is not home turf to my vanagon -- i pull the back window curtains shut too-- yes it takes me a minute to put all this away -- but i have a diesel and must wait for at least 60 seconds anyway --

aww F&@& i dont want to do ALL THAT ---

well ok that is your choice -- but i know the heart ache of vanagon violation -- it is very unpleasant -- and sad ---

the second problem i eliminate by being absolutely crazy about locking doors --

the only time in my life i have ever been broken into ... a passenger left my door unlocked when they got out the passenger was a permanent passenger person who did not make any effort to lock the door upon exit-- and silly me -- i had just returned form 3 months driving all over the usa with my wife and had become accustomed to my passenger locking up on exit since then i sometimes get up in the middle of the night just to do a security check on the doors --

no intrusion since -- one of my good friends wants me to pick up a single barrel BARKER LONG another pal advocates large dog another pal favors both -- hmm maybe in the future ... after i learn better Barker care and use and when we have K 9 space

Yours
