When you pull the upper cushions, don't forget to check the space with the usually-folded-up extension, unfolded. It will give you an accurate measure of just how much space you can create up there. Since you have the van in "traveling mode", not camping, that upper extension can be left extended and makes it real difficult for someone to even look up there. It appears to be just the ceiling of that space when the top is not popped.

Something that hasen't been mentioned, but has been referred to related to the stuff that can be seen inside the van if left laying around, tint the heck out of your windows to the legal max, then the front curtain idea becomes very useful. My tint job was about $300 and well worth it. I never have to draw/close/pull any curtains during the day in my van and can change clothes or whatever as nobody can see in .... except thru the windshield during the day, and outside light is blocked so much, it's hard to see anything thru the windshield due to the light differential. Something to think about to enhance privacy.

I wonder if the upper bunk is deep enough to hold a guitar if the pad is removed. I'll check that out tomorrow.

Great ideas. I'm thinking...

Matt
