Dottie and I traveled up to Alaska/Yukon in 2002 in a 72 Westy before we became Vanagon folk. We spent more time in Canada than Alaska. Our favorites were; Kenai Peninsula, Alaska Dawson City, Yukon. The whole town feels like a gold rush museum. Dempster highway (Dawson City to Inuvik) Atlin, BC - worth the 1 hour drive off the main road, especially the glacier tour by small airplane Top of the World Highway from Dawson City Yukon, to Tok, Alaska Muncho Lake and Liard River Hotsprings, northern BC Stewart BC / Hyder Alaska (off of the Cassiar highway coming south)
