That depends entirely on how much current you're planning to draw. The lighter (current track 75, page 97.210) is fed from fuse S3, 15 amps, which also feeds the interior lights.

<rant> The cigarette-lighter plug is one of those historical anomalies like the querty keyboard -- it's perfectly reasonable for lighters, but just about the worst possible plug for ordinary power uses -- partly because the lighter latches into the socket until it heats up, and the regular plugs don't. So the potential problem from the non-sliding center contact is hugely aggravated by their inherent tendency to push themselves out of the socket. This leads to intermittent contact, or even worse to a high-resistance contact that causes the plug to melt.

But at least until people stop smoking in cars, we appear to be stuck with it. </rant>
