Ed,

Great descrption of how to do it right...with the right tools.

So, anyone have any suggestions on how to get a drum off that's stuck to
the hub/axle? I've not spent too much time, but I have soaked it with Aero
Kroil, and pounded it with a rubber mallet. I also tried gently heating
the area around the hub (where it is apparantly stuck) with a propane
torch.

I've only spent a few mintutes doing the above things, so maybe more time
would be productive.

I can't see any good way to use a large puller. The backing plate would
have to be bent to get the hooks around the drum.

Suggestions?
