I'd worry more about the printer. Most cheap inverters have either
square wave, or "modified sine wave" (which is nothing like a sine
wave) output. Electronics aren't always happy with that. I can charge
my laptop using one, but if I try to actually use it while plugged in,
the trackpad goes crazy due to the noise.

Check to see how many watts the printer draws before trying.
