Now I'm in a rural area where people are friendlier and stores are less hectic, so the following may not apply to a large metropolitan area. But here is what happened in my case. The website said "low stock" for my location as well. So I called the store (armed with the SKU number found on the website), and the fellow in the actual department confirmed that he only had a display model left. I asked for a discount, and he offered $25 (at which time my eyes bulged out). I asked if he'd hold it for 20 minutes while I drove there, and he agreed. Now it's in my Vanagon. Might be worth a call; nothing to lose. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
