Matt and Volks: When mine needed removing and fsubsequently fell
apart, I went to the local plastics warehouse and bought a sheet of
1/8" black textured ABS and cut it to shape and drilled the proper
hole. Added some aftermarket made US fasteners that had phillips
plastic screws in the center to expand the tangs for grip. Now when
I need in there, there's no more prying to pull everything
apart. Don't know what these folks want for the panel and shipping,
but I'd guess the ABS is a cheaper and much heavier duty way to
go......unless you're one of those OEM freaks that has to have your
Vanagon 1000% original looking.
