I think you are right. Ideally I would like the fasteners behind the
wood and not visible on the facing side. So I would need to somehow
adhere the fastener. I would have to use a thin sheet so it has some
flex to as well. I would love to find a thin piece of bamboo veneer
for the panels, to give the Van a earthy feel.
