Put the pin into the nozzle hole and rotate so it points where you want. The 'orifice' is a small hole in a metal ball, which rotates within the plastic nozzle housing (IIRC). I was a happy camper when someone pointed it out on the list a while back. A safety pin worked great for clearing a blockage in one of the nozzles. Joe Santa Cruz, CA
