I was driving behinid Tom down that Racetrack road when I saw dark elongated liquid spots in the lighter dirt on the road and initially said that either he or Richard was "exhibiting" a possible brake line failure, possibly coolant leak. Later I put some on my fingers at a second spot and it was hydraulic smelling/feeling to me. Tom looked into his RR wheel well (the spots were on that side of the road) and saw the melted (literally) top of the shock with fluid burping everywhere.

We looked very closely later and noticed that where it commonly says Monroe (some shock makers use them as cores - OME does) it said Mattel. ;-)
