so for $ 101 dollars for 6 months....... you get your van insured against total loss for $ 5,000, you only get to drive it 2,500 miles a year........

and...you have 500 deductible comprehensive and 500 deductible collision ...........?? and they can change 'the value' of the collectible vehicle ( your van ) after they see pictures of it, if they want to.

cheap all right, but I wouldn't want to be limited to 2,500 miles a year. That's a bit over 200 miles a month, right ? ( 200 X 12 = 2,400 )

On comprehensive.............vandalism, tree falls on it, cracked windshield etc............ I like Zero deductible on that one .......for a normal car insurance policy zero deductible comprehensive can be pretty inexpensive...... as low as $ 30 for six months if you also have other cars insured on the same policy. That means a 'free windshield' any time, no questions. Very handy. Collision I don't have, cause I don't plan to run into any trees or whatever.........and if I did, I'd fix it myself.

my main issue with a policy like this is limited miles. but it is cheap. I'd say I am paying about $ 110 for six months for each car........I have 3, two vanagons and a volvo sedan insured...... unlimited miles of course...... For a 'Total Loss' I'm sure the pay off # isn't that high ........but I've never had a total loss in my whole life on a car, so I don't think it's likely to happen to me ......... and I have zero deductible comprehensive on those cars I think..... so I am paying for 3 cars, but at close to what this policy shown here offers, per car. and coverage that fits my requirements more.

I'm not sure on the terms ......'stated value' ...........that would be different than 'agreed upon value' I'm sure, ..........?

< as I read more and more fine print in agreements from companies.........like banks and credit card companies etc...... it usually says in the fine print that they can do whatever they want, change things whenever they want etc. This one might have some of that in it. >
