You would need to hook up the Buddy to your Westy tank BEFORE the regulator since the Buddy has its own regulator. If your "T" is before the Westy regulator you should be ok.

Another option is to get their adaptor hose and use a larger propane tank other than those green disposal cylinders.

And finally, you can get a fitting from harbor freight to refill those wasteful green cylinders from your BBQ tank at home....just be careful when working with Propane.
