I searched the drill bit box for something just the right diameter and used the non-drilling end inserted into the sprayer nozzle.  Trial and error got the aim about right.

This jogged my memory of an issue that I've been meaning to address for some time....

My washers shoot the fluid directly up in the air. The only way I get any on the windshield itself is if I lightly tap the lever in order to get the washers to spit a weak squirt up - very inefficient and wasteful (and annoying).

So how simple is this? Just grab something with a sharp point and pull the nozzle down so that the opening is pointing at the windshield?

I'm sure it's simple, but my luck I'd wind up yanking on something that would cause the entire mechanism and washer assembly to need replacement! :o)
