A friend of mine used to own a hotel franchise years ago and he explained that many hotels just scrape along until these events happen & give them a chance to make money.

In other words, it's just simple economics and no different than seasonal rates along the beaches in Florida.

I really hate to see towns do that when events come to town. I have no idea what they are thinking...

Bruce is a all about the working class, the average Joe American, not the Joe Millionaire! Sad really to see the mental state of mind these business's are in since they all know they would never get those rates normally. Enjoy the show, sorry to hear the accommodations are just so overpriced.
