you forget or are not aware that the subaru oppossed 4's and 6's use 'real headgaskets'.
like 'normal' engines.  Totally flat bottom to the head.  Waterboxers have nothing like that. 
BIG DIFFERENCE !~ 

there is the concept of 'wrongful termination' I'm sure you know.
If you get fired because your boss doesn't like you...........you can sue for wrongful termination.

Maybe the same Unions also forced them to engineer it better? Damn Unions! BTW, did you happen to know that in most (if not all) states unless you are a Union member, your employment is "at will", meaning you can be fired at ANY time for ANY reason?
