Subject: My Friday the 13th Vanagon Story...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

It's Friday, and Friday the 13th, and it's about my Vanagon GL....

About 3 years ago, on a Friday the 13th, I was getting ready for work. The house windows were open and I heard a cat yeowlling. Looking out the window, I couldn't see the cat, it sounded like it was coming from under the my van. I get ready and jump in the Vanagon and head out to work. No cat to be found. I get a few blocks from my house, and I feel this rattling and banging, it feels like it's coming from under the van. Holy cats! I think that maybe the cat climbed up under the van and is riding along with me. Since I'm close to home, I turn around, head home, and pull in the driveway. I get out and start looking under the van. No cat, thank goodness. What do I find....? A leaking fuel line at the plastic junction in the firewall over the transmission/starter....drip, drip, drip...

Weird but true....ghost kitty was looking out for me that day.

Happy Friday and check those fuel lines....
