im suprised nobody else has done this.. nor even responded to my post..

think about it. the front overhead a/c duct from 86-91 pass van.

the center duct hole - mount a GPS or CB or DVD screen there, or leave it open for storing sunglasses etc.

the a/c vents - remove the vents, and cut the vertical pieces between them. perfect for storing maps..etc.

best of all, its made for a vanagon.. the sunvisors mount to it..it fits around the rearview mirror..

and they come in beige or grey already..

dont know why others havent done this..

y'all can keep coming up with your silly ideas from using ones from other cars *smiles*, but his is one thats already made for the vanagon..

fyi, i have some if anyone wants to do this..
