Subject: Throttle body issues

Howdy to all,

I'm currently having problems with the throttle valve switch. (the switch is bad) Upon further inspection I noticed there is scoring on the interior of the throttle body from the butterfly valve rubbing against it. Is this ok? There seems to be a small amout of play in the shaft. Do I try to fix it or let it go? Does anyone have a throttle body there are willing to part with? 86' GL 2.1L, 4sp. Thanx...
