Jeff, I'm sorry to hear that man. What a major PITA! I can definitely empathize with you. I had my van broken into this past summer. The guy ruined my Satellite radio and had my check book. Luckily he was caught on site - it didn't do me any good though I still had to replace my radio unit - make matters worse the guy got very little punishment out of it. I think some community service and restitution ( to whom I don't know because I didn't see any money). Last weekend someone broke into the garage at my old house that I am trying to sell. made off with two bikes, my golf clubs, and part of the side tent for our bus. While I was waiting for the police I was able to get some information from a neighborhood person and I was able to recover my clubs and the side tent. When the cops arrived I gave them all the information I had received - which included the name of the person who broke in. The cop didn't even take a report of what I was telling him. I've called to check up and basically nothing will be done. It's BS. -- Thanks, Jeff '90 Carat (Grover) '86 (We call this one Parts) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus |
