dear vanagon captain chair sunday journalists
i took a moment to fire off an email comment to the ask men dot calm folks
dear tom
your article is looking poorly researched -- not backed up at all by numbers
.. or even acknowledgment that you have participated or watched any crash
tests ...
by the way the VW Bus has extensive crash test video on youtube ... your
article smacked of coffee table bant-- no actually it reeked of pub talk
after 11 pm -- all speculation with out very much fact --
how many of these vehicles have crashed and what were the injuries compared
to other similar vehicles crashed and their injuries --
you know the standard stuff every crash test dummy knows --- the story
seemed more urban legend than factual based --
but hey it is internet based journalism and i guess the adage holds true --
ya gets what ya pays for--
-- if you are only feeding the information to unknowing 14 year old boys and
girls i guess you can say what you like --
those who own or operate vehicles listed in your top ten deadliest are
likely to have considerable fact based arguments for you to face were you to
find your self sitting across from them --
at the pub where you gather your information --

we shall see what sort of an answer rolls out --
i would doubt the fellow is smart enough to even access the document that
loren hints about ---
really too bad when the not knowing get paid to tell stuff to the really not
knowing ---
i often wondered in my youth what it would take to get a job as a talking
head --
having seen much of them and after meeting several in my life---
i am very greatful i did not go that way
happily owning 89 diesel california package vanagon
