I don't think it's that. I know I'm afraid to do more damage than good. Electricty is dangerous in the home and auto. At home I know my limits and am very careful. In the vehicle, (as a kid) I burned out my share of electronics and a brand new FM cassette(upgraded from 8-track). That's why the list members who always offer wiring advice are so useful to me.
