Okay, I think I have plenty of info to work from now.  I was worried about the actual fit and am assured that this is feasible.  Height and adjustability will be dealt with if, as and when.  In fact, if height is an issue I figure I can just use one EV seat on the passenger side (keeping the bride happy) and continue to suffer my own self.   Thanks for the advice, folks.  I'll be sure to document the transformation and post the results.  So tomorrow comes the fun part; spending money on the Westy.   Stephen

Stephen, that's a good point. She finds herself too high, relative to the floor. I find myself just higher than I am used to, relative to the rest of the van, though I can see just fine in all directions. I think it all comes down to a seat platform, higher than the engineers intended. Miguel

Did you find that the seat was too high relative to the floor, or was it too high relative to the "rest of the van?" By that I mean did you find that you were sitting too high to see out comfortably (front, back, sides) and/or work the controls? Thanks! >
