Subject: Loping Idle problem solved
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

Group, The solution was simple. The vacuum line was off of the AC solenoid, and the large hose from the auxiliary air regulator was out of the rubber housing. I guess the engine must have backfired and blown them out. That's all I can figure. The engine idles great now.

My next project is to replace the ignition switch which doesn't seem to make good contact at times, and causes a hot starting problem after stopping. Ordered a new one today from Ken. After that, I'm going to replace the rubber fuel hoses. Hope I don't have a fire before I can do this.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. They are filed for future use.

The van may be up for sale in a couple of months. I hate to part with it, but I'm stretched too far these days to keep it maintained properly.
