Subject: Van died on me!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I was driving my '84 Westfalia down the freeway today. I took an off ramp and then started hearing a "tat tat tat" sound from the engine bay. I lost power and then the van stalled. I started it and then it stalled. I started it again and started going up the over pass and it stalled again before I crested the over pass. Luckily there was a very big space in the middle between the lanes where I coasted. After that I was not able to get the engine to turn over at all. When I turn the key to start I just hear one click. I checked my fuses. I tried a different battery. My van is now sitting outside a shop! I wish this would have happened close to home so I could of had it towed to my house. I don't have money to pay a mechanic right now. I guess it will just sit there for a while.

Depending on the outcome I might end up selling it. I really don't want to.

:-(
