As you may know, Max, we bought a house in Glade Spring, VA to winter over in but fuel line freezing wasn't the reason.

I spent 9 winters in northern Maine and I sometimes drove my Vanagons with temperatures that reached -30ºF actual temperature (wind chill made it seem colder than that). Not once did I experience fuel line freezing and my vehicles stayed outside.

The only way I can imagine such a problem is if there is water in the fuel and/or filter.

Mike
