Take both hands and grab the piece that moves when you push to honk the horn. Rip it out of the steering wheel. No kidding. Gentle prying won't do. But do a controlled ripping so that the two wires that attach the horn part to the car don't rip off too. You've got six inches maybe of wire. Unplug the spade connectors from the underside and set aside.

Now you see the nut in the center. Remove it. Use a pick and strike a line on the shaft and the steering wheel base so the two can be re-aligned in the same place. A sharpie will work as well. Shake the wheel with both hands while pulling off the shaft.

To replace, tighten per bentley torque specs, I don't remember. Reconnect the horn button, place as nearly right as you can in the steering wheel cavity and shove firmly, engaging the plastic teeth to snap it into place.
