Grab the top "lip" of the long horn bar and pull toward you and it will pop off. It's held in place by a couple spring steel clips. You'll need about a 22mm? socket, the longer the better. I use an 18 inch long, 1/2" drive breaker bar, to enscrew the nut holding the s/wheel on.

How do you remove a Vanagon steering wheel? It's an '86 if that makes a difference. Directions and any "been there done that" tips would be really appreciated. I'm pulling it in order to install a new turn signal arm.

Thanks, Greg 1986 Westy Syncro
