the easy way is to pick the center cap out of the steering wheel horn 'button' .......... then put your .............24 mm socket I think .........down in there with an extension, unscrew and remove the nut, then wiggle and pull the steering wheel straight off toward you.

before pulling the steering wheel, set the steering exactly straight ahead.........so you can put the steering wheel back on where it was, so it's still straight when you're going straight.

I can't think of any gotchas.......it's pretty straightforward. Make sure you get the nut plenty tight going back together. S.
