Try to ask a friend who is a CSAA member. Most CSAA members have extended towing service up to 100 miles. It doesn't matter if the CSAA member actually owns the vehicle asking for the tow service.

An auto repair shop owner near me here will let his customers borrow his member card and have their car towed by CSAA to his repair shop. They will tow up to 100 miles. I asked the shop owner (a mechanic too) personally if CSAA will limit such service to a few times (4 or 5) per year. He said no. He said he can use the service with no limit on the number of tows.

That's strange. But he did lend his card to my friend one day to tow his Toyota Sienna to his shop for a head gasket job. I watched the tow truck towing the van with my own eyes.

Well, try to find a friend with CSAA membership to help. Tow it back home then try to fix it yourself at home. Or wait until you have the budget to fix it to have a shop do it for you.
