'ca smog system' ? there's only one version of US model 1983 1/2 1.9 liter waterboxer vanagon engine.

air-cooled vanagons, those are 'Ca' or 'non-Ca'...............but waterboxers.....only one version, pretty sure. I mean, the Oregon and whatever waterboxer vans I've seen are no different than the California ones I've known. correct me if that's not correct. Scott
