Having owned and/or driven many 1.9L and 2.1L Westies over the years, I would call the difference small but noticable. In particular I notice it when on extended inclines, and even more so while running the A/C. It is not day-and-night.

For those who need a new engine and want a "turn-key" upgrade, we offer a rebuilt 2.1L engine in a 1.9L case, so all of the ancilliary items from your existing 1.9L engines will be a direct swap to your new engine.
