I, too, installed a 7 paassenger seat into my Westy, and found the seat too "tall".

I was riding in a slightly different position, a situation to which I could probably get used to, except I had a clearance problem between the steering wheel and my legs. I'm 6' 0" tall, and of relatively normal proportions, other than being larger than my doctor feels I should be. A smaller and/or skinnier person might not have this problem.

Did you find that the seat was too high relative to the floor, or was it too high relative to the "rest of the van?" By that I mean did you find that you were sitting too high to see out comfortably (front, back, sides) and/or work the controls? Thanks! >
