That's all a little confusing. The stock setup, on a Vanagon with the Westfalia camper conversion, has a connector on the outside of the van, drivers side, that when the flap is lifted exposes a male connector for 110v AC cord. That terminates two places. First on the cabinets down by the floor byu the rear seat, complete with a manual restable breaker between the two outlets. The second is inside the cabinet that holds the stove/sink/refigerator and is located at the back of the storage under the sink. There will be one power cord already pluged into it from the rifigerator. Caveat here, I'm talking about a stock setup. Some PO could well have made changes. BTW, the Canadian setup is just a little different. The 110v AC connection is at the bottom of the van on the left side, not with the water tank fill or shore water connections. And the Canadian setup has a cord already attached, hard wired to the van. It stores inside the little door and is pulled out to connect to shore power.

And I really am puzzled by the comment about a gasket.
