RE: Powering the 110v AC outlets from an inverter. You are going to get (this is the first) a number of people telling you to NOT do that. Depending on how you wire it, and the switch, the first time you plug into shore power BUT forgot to throw the switch, or someone else, helping you set up, plugs in before you throw the switch, you could well have some neat fireworks INSIDE the van. Not worth the risk. I have a 400 watt inverter permanently mounted, all by itself. And I frequently plug into shore power when it's available. With the two sources stand alone, not interconnected, I never have to worry.
