Not quite true. Yes, the 80-84 clock cluster 14 pin has almost every wire in a different position than 85-91. The 85-91 have all wires the same other than the 85 lacks 1 wire not used in 85. The 85 cluster will still work fine in 86-91 vans but does not use the one wire for the second oil pressure switch the 2.1 has. No harm done. Mark
