Paul, there are a couple of ways you can make the broken one work. One is to cut the web away then smooth what is left so that you can put the hose on that and clamp it down. Another is to get a short length of brass tubing, heat it so that it will "Melt its way in", and force it into the stub where the tube was broken off. If you're concerned that it might leak you could follow that with a coating of JB Weld. Of course, you put the hose on the brass tube. I have done it both ways with complete success. Mike |
