I see those Dihatsus type things here and there. They are almost common at large university campuses and such. I looked at one that was brand new recently and the speedometer went all the way up to 40mph. It did have a radio though. As for the mini splitty retro, I would be embarrassed riding in it. Where has our culture gone when again and again the next new thing is old stuff? Have we run out of ideas or have we evolved to the end? The only thing splitty about it is that style of the front end. Looks like a toy--A $20,000 toy. No other part on it or function of it comes close to being anything like the original. Slider front windows,40hp, miniscule dash, stick shift. Let this past die in peace. |
