I still need to do the driver’s side but I’m really excited about this mod.    http://picasaweb.google.com/bike2vcu/_seatTransplant?authkey=0inUs01c7cI#    Thigh-to-steering-wheel clearance is my biggest worry but will probably be fine. If not I’ll remove the swivel to gain space since I never use the one on that side.  Cost/benefit (both time and money) makes this a no-brainer if you have even the slightest complaint about the original Westy seats.  If you can find Vanagon non-Westy buckets (with or without armrests) they’ll swap right in without modification, I’m told, but these EV seats were the first ones I could find and they need the work you see documented.  In good condition and reasonably priced, they were too good to pass up.  I don’t see many VW vans being parted out around here so I jumped at these.   Stephen
