OK, If you haven't been browsing on the Samba forums and come across this vendor.....you need to check it out. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=656981 When mounting Porsche and Mercedes Benz wheels on a Vanagon you will be presented with some issues, Chris can help customize the process and make it bolt on. Machining of mounting holes and center bore are up to you, but his hardware is truely special. I am posting this for the archieves and for those still pondering a wheel tire upgrade. I have used stock Vanagon nuts and bolts for fitting wheels, but quickly noticed that the set up would be unsafe (IMHO) for everyday use or off road use.
