The used 2.1 WBX I picked up last week has the code MV. This is a standard US or North America version of WBX. It is rated at 90 to 95 HP. Am I right that DJ coded one is a SA version? So what is the real difference between a DJ coded one and US standard one such as one that is MV coded? Does that 20+ HP come from the block or is it from else where, such as ECU, intake (AFM, throttle, etc.) and exhaust system? I think higher compression ratio alone will not give extra 20+ HP from 90 or 95.

Obviously I am on the wrong coast either. But I am interested in finding out if it is possible for the MV coded to be pushed toward the direction of a DJ coded one, especially if it won't cost an arm and a leg to get to.

David
