The address the parts were to be sent to was: Atlant USA Inc 250 W Artesia Blvd Compton CA 90220 (cut & pasted from the same message from the shipper as the one I originally cut & pasted to Tevis).

Tevis' selfrighteous response to my posting on TheSamba, and my reply:

Posted: Yesterday 1:52 pm Post subject: loss of contact ------------------------------------------------------------------------ actually, I have the box right here. I went to fedex and they said theres no business by that name. this was shortly after being scammed on the samba by someone complaining to paypal about non receipt after i sent it to the address they asked me to shipped to instead of their confirmed address. "Andrew" used his sister in laws paypal account from canada to pay for something to be shipped to Los Angeles when hes in New Zealand...to a company that doesnt come up on google and fedex says isnt there....all with 4 to 5 weeks between his emails. how about the dozens of happy customers i've had on the samba and the 100's on ebay and other groups? if Andrew can provide a legitimate address i can ship to I would be happy to reship the box. also, everett, instead of sending me a harrassing email using your alias why dont you email me and at least ask me what happened first. ive been on the samba for a while and have had many happy customers.

Really? Well, why the hell haven't you sent the parts? You have my money (paid by my BROTHER-in-law's account because I refuse to have a creditcard). The address was to me c/o Robbie Stevens, Imperial Freight, Atlantl... Compton, CA. Google for Atlantl. It comes up just fine. I live in NZ. Of course the shipping address is different to the "confirmed" address! You are stupid enough to tell the forum that you are the crook. How the hell do you expect me to get the parts to NZ except by shipping from LA? Happy customers? Really? Well, *I'm* not one of those.

Ask you first? I have sent a number of messages, not one in any way accusing you of anything... but you wouldn't reply.

If you are honest and have really tried to send the parts, you will PHONE FedEx and ask why they can't find a valid address... an international container shipper at that! But of course you know that I'm not a scammer BECAUSE YOU ALREADY HAVE MY MONEY. How then can *I* be the scammer?

Note to vanagon listees: Tevis calls himself "vwparts" on TheSamba's feedback forum. There is noi misunderstanding as far as I can see. I paid via my brother-in-law and provided a valid sending address. Tevis managed to drag things out so that it was well past PayPal's cutoff date for reversal of payment. Hopefully my brother-in-law can get his creditcard company to reverse it anyway... unless Tevis actually sends the parts and FedEx is capable of finding a driver who can find his own butt with at most two hands.
