I understand. My Westys Jetta 2.0 engine has the same oil pressure switch(s) system. AFAIK, all 2.1 WBX engines have 2 oil pressure switches, and the 1.9 WBX has only 1.

I looked at each Bentley wiring diagram. '83-'84 and '85 Digijet. (1.9 WBX) All show a 1.8 bar oil pressure switch. But....

Busdepot shows the "1.9 Litre" as having a .3 bar and German auto parts shows the "Volkswagen - Vanagon, '83 ***Water-cooled***" as having a .3 bar.

I bet it's a typo, or outdated information that is shown in Bentley.

And, I bet this has been covered. Now I'm off to my personal Gerry archives......
